Coastal Dive Sites (within 30km)
 
The Blocks – Maximum Depth 8m
In the late 90's rectangular and pyramid shaped concrete structures were submerged to create an artificial reef which today harbours turtles, stingrays, barracuda, sea snakes, anemone and many more typical coral reef fish

Breakwater – Rock/Coral/Wreck - Maximum Depth 6-8m
A shallow dive site that is perfect for training, fun dives and snorkeling. Created in the late 90's and now home to brain coral, frogspawn coral, mushroom coral and lots of reef fish; coral grouper, sergeant major, Arabian and yellow-ear angelfish and a small wreck. Occasional stingrays, turtles and dolphins, as well as some batfish that like to follow us around when we're diving

Delta Buoy – Coral Reef - Maximum Depth 11m
This site has a big coral reef the likes of brain, birds-nest, fire coral and lots more. Home to many types of reef fish and a good place to spot coral grouper, sergeant major, sea snakes, king fish and occasional shoals of barracudas

Cement Barge – Wreck - Maximum Depth 11m
An old cement barge that sank in the mid 90's with the usual reef fish as well as lots Arabian angelfish and barracuda

Ras Ghorab – Coral Reef - Maximum Depth 8m
A fantastic place for discover scuba divers and snorkeling trips. There is an abundance of brain coral, octopus coral, acropora coral, clown fish, butterfly fish and much more

Empros – Coral Reef - Maximum Depth 14m
A relatively newly spotted reef, home to lots of barracuda, flounders, scorpionfish, blennies, goatfish, emperor fish, rabbitfish and batfish

Saadiyat Island – Coral Reef – Maximum Depth 6-9m
A shallow dive close to the shore, a great site for snorkelling and beginners courses. There is an abundance of brain coral, octopus coral, acropora coral, clown fish, butterfly fish and much more
